John Massih

Attorney

John Massih is an Estate Planning & Administration, Business, and Real Estate Attorney with a multi-state practice that serves Nebraska, Iowa, Connecticut, and New York. Attorney Massih has lectured locally and nationally on Estate Planning and Asset Protection strategies. He has been recognized by his peers as a “Rising Star” in the Connecticut “Super Lawyers” listings in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 and was also recognized in the November 2015 edition of Greenwich Magazine as one of the best lawyers practicing in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Attorney Massih received his law degree “with Distinction” from the University of Nebraska Lincoln College of Law and his Masters in Business Administration from Creighton University.

When he is not helping clients, he spends as much of his time as possible with his lovely wife Anne, and their two sons Jake and Drew at home. Now and again, he attempts to play a round of golf, although it does not appear that he will be qualifying for the PGA tour any time soon.

Joseph Furnari Jr.

Attorney

Attorney Joseph Furnari Jr. launched his practice in 2017, drawing on his early lessons in entrepreneurship from growing up in Trumbull, CT. His parents, Joe and Isa, have owned and operated Moda Capelli Salon in Fairfield, CT for over 40 years. This is where Joseph saw firsthand what it takes to run a successful small business.

After earning his degree from Endicott College in 2006, Joseph decided to pursue law, attending New England Law – Boston while working full-time in hospitality, sales, and legal clerkships. He graduated in 2011, passed the bar exams in both Connecticut and Massachusetts, and started his legal career at a boutique business law firm in Boston, specializing in civil litigation, commercial real estate, and business law.

By 2014, Joseph returned to Connecticut, expanding his practice into residential real estate and estate planning, while continuing to serve clients in the Greater Boston Area. This time included meeting and working with Lineage co-founder, Attorney John Massih. Joseph now lives in Bridgeport with his growing family. Outside of work, he’s a dedicated father and uncle, a passionate sports fan, and enjoys hitting the golf course—though he’s still perfecting his swing.

Daniel Lawrence

Daniel Lawrence began his career at Massih Law, LLC in September of 2016 as an Estate Planning and Real Estate paralegal. Originally from Oklahoma City, Daniel now resides in Southbury with his wife and son. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.A. in theatre and from Norwalk Community College with a certificate in legal assistance. He enjoys travel, classic movies, good food, good wine, and good company.

Nancy Giblin

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Nancy is an Administrative Assistant for the Firm. Usually, she is the first person you will have contact with when you call or stop into the office. She assists with the Firm’s Attorney scheduling, maintaining orderliness in the office, and countless administrative tasks for the Firm.

Nancy enjoys spending time with her family, the beach, and taking care of her backyard chickens and ducks.
